That pretty much sums up this last weekend for Aaron and some very good buddies of his. The weekend consisted of these four, fine gentlemen: Aaron Galbreath, Zach Bowers, Jeremy Dotts and Nate Keskes. J Dott and Nate K drove down from Michigan, which was delightful. Been way to long since we've seen those nuggets - love those guys.
NOTE TO READERS - Nugget is a term of endearment referring to anything I find adorable.
As some of you may know, Zach is gettin' hitched to a fabulous gal, Mara, this September. And, in honor of his upcoming nuptials and his inevitable departure from the great state of Indiana, a few of the boys got together for some golf. A lot of golf. I mean, a LOT of golf.
90 holes to be exact. That's 9-0 people.
Yep, you read that right. 90.
They began their festivities on Friday night, with 18 at Killbuck in Anderson. After which, they retired to casa Galbreath for some Papa John pizza and Euchre. Of course.
Saturday, they played 36 at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville in the sweltering 90+ heat. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of playing or even seeing this course, it's really spectacular. And TOUGH.
After Saturday - I mean, they didn't even finish until 9pm - one would think they'd have had it. BUT NO. It was off to play some Tee. Some GoldenTee...a golf video game.
And Sunday, they finished off the weekend with 36 holes at the Anderson Country Club.
I think Sunday finally did them in. As Zach and AMG arrived home, utterly exhausted. I mean, tired. Zach returned home and after dinner, Aaron promptly passed out on the couch.
A fine time was had by all. Congrats to Zach and Mara! Can't wait for the big day.
